Cottonwood County Animal Rescue Inc

Saving the Homeless Animals of Cottonwood County Minnesota

Our Purpose

Our specific purpose is to rescue abandoned, abused and injured animals; rehabilitate them, and then find them loving adoptive homes.

Currently stray animals are taken to the vet clinic by law enforcement officers where they are held temporarily.  If the animal is not claimed by its owner within 5 days, the vet clinic contacts Cottonwood County Animal Rescue Inc. The animal is either spayed or neutered and given a complete medical checkup.

All cats are tested for feline leukemia and aids.  Both dogs and cats also receive their first round of vaccinations which may include rabies and distemper.

We provide volunteers to foster the pets and provide financial assistance for the boarding and medical costs.  We also post pictures on our Facebook page of the animals awaiting adoption and provide assistance with the adoption process.

It is a desire of Cottonwood County Animal Rescue Inc to raise community awareness of not only the need for care of homeless pets, but also the availability of this organization to assist in adoptions.

It is our hope that all pets are cared for in loving homes.
